Ms. Beffrey serves as the Chief of Staff for the U.S. Army DEVCOM Ground Vehicle Systems Center, a position she has held since March 2024.  She leads a diversely disciplined staff of more than 170 experts in personnel, security, operations, logistics, planning, and more in supporting the GVSC mission to develop ground vehicle technologies for the Army’s strategic priorities and in support of its Cross Functional Teams.

As a Detroit Arsenal government employee, Beffrey has served a multitude of roles among the organizations headquartered there, including her most recent service as the Product Support Manager for Product Manager, Robotics and Autonomous Systems where she directed the integrated logistics support activities and logistics processes as part of the systems acquisition and logistics business areas to support the program through the various lifecycle that each platform was in during her tenure.

Previous to this, Beffrey served as the Logistics Support Operations Director at the Integrated Logistics Support Center, providing executive level direction to the LSO, an organization of multiple business groups and disciplines managing over 300 personnel with a mission that comprised three (3) Directorates and their accompanying functions.  She has also served as the Materiel Systems Organization Director at ILSC; the Logistics Director and Product Support Manager for the Joint Program Office, Joint Light Tactical Vehicles; the Integration Deputy Director for PM Logistics Modernization Program, and a series of other duties of increasing scope and responsibility since beginning her career as a supply intern at U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command.

Among her many activities during her career, Beffrey has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007 as a Department of the Army Civilian, serving as the Small Arms Support Center site lead.  In this capacity, she was responsible for the repair, unserviceable turn-in, and issuing of new weapons to support the critical weapons needs of the Army. During this period, she experienced firsthand what it is to support the war fighter face to face in a combat environment.

Ms. Beffrey’s academic achievements include a Masters Degree from Lawrence Technological University in Global Leadership and Management, a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Baker Community College, and an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Macomb Community College.  She received her Army Acquisition Corps certification, Advanced Project Management and Life Cycle Logistics Acquisition certification.
